Directly connect your Mercury bank account to Finta. The benefits of using the direct connection over our previous Plaid connection are:
The direct connection allows for unlimited history, you can sync as far back in time as you like. The Plaid connection is limited to the last three years
You can sync recent data with the direct connection. With Plaid, updates are sent on a daily schedule
The direct connection has better accuracy and less downtime
To get started, create an API token within your Mercury account. Then, head over to the Accounts page where you can set up your new bank connection.

Before, Finta defaulted to showing outflows (e.g. expenses) as negative and inflow (e.g. income) as positive. Now you can change this setting and show expenses as positive instead.
If you're using Notion, Airtable, or Google Sheets, head over to your destination's page and click on the "Transactions" table. Then toggle the button pictured above to your desired setting.
If you're using Coda, you can update this setting within the sync table by clicking on "Options" and then clicking the checkbox for "Show outflows as positive"

The metrics chart has been updated to include even more insights. Now you can perform different kinds of aggregation calculations, view a metric for the current time period, and compare the metric to the previous time periodβs value
Metrics can now be calculated using different aggregation calculations: sum, max, min, average

Do you only care about a metric for the current time period? Now you can only include values from today, this week, this month, this quarter, or this year.
Additionally, you can compare the value from the current period to the previous period

The syncs page (previously known as the logs page) has been redesigned to make it easier to see a history of your syncs. The page loads in half the time, and you can now filter by status, trigger, destination or bank connection.
Click on a sync to see exactly how much data was sent to your destination and if there were any errors.
